Senspex Receives Flying 40 for 15th Consecutive Year

It was an honor to be a recipient of the 2021 New Mexico Technology Flying 40 award, an award which seeks to celebrate critical players in the growth and development of New Mexico’s high-tech industry. Despite hurdles presented as a result of the ongoing global pandemic, this year’s winners were able to pull through and “weather the storm” to the extent that the combined total revenue came to $1.017 billion dollars, and 4,940 total employees in 2020. For our part, Senspex placed 6th overall in highest growth of technology companies with yearly revenues over ten million dollars which is a great achievement despite the difficulties presented!
Sherman McCorkle, a key player in the Flying 40 awards and a principal sponsor, described the challenges faced by companies in 2020 and commented, “…[T]hey did a magnificent job of weathering the storm. They showed real resiliency.”
This year’s event was held at the Albuquerque Biopark Botanical Gardens, with live performances and Japanese-inspired food served in the Japanese gardens. Attendees were graced with performances by Okinawan dancers from Albuquerque and Las Vegas, along with Taiko drummers from a local troupe.
The Flying 40 program and award ceremony was also featured in the Albuquerque Journal’s “Business Outlook” published Monday, September 20th 2021.
