The five-year indefinite-delivery and indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract has potential value of over $9 million. “Senspex is excited to be able to continue and enhance its support of the Army training mission with the addition of this important contract vehicle”, said Janelle Anthone, Senspex’s President and CEO. “This follow-on contract allows Senspex to collaborate with Army program managers and other contractors to ensure that the training facilities are always maintained and quickly restored.”
Army range facilities are used to conduct live-fire training exercises by U.S. forces and/or its allies for the purpose of developing and improving military combat skills. The SRP includes over 90 training ranges on over 30 military bases around the world in a variety of geographical locations and under a wide range of extreme environmental conditions. These facilities use long range thermal imaging technologies produced by Senspex for observation and review of the training exercises. Senspex manufactures and supports these thermal imaging camera systems, and provides technical services related to their installation and maintenance.
