Senspex to Participate in $50 Billion Seaport-NxG Contract

On January 2nd, 2019, it was announced that Senspex Inc. of Albuquerque, had been awarded a SeaPort Next Generation (SeaPort NxG) prime contract to provide engineering support services to the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps.
SeaPort NxG is the Navy’s primary Multiple-Award Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract for procuring support services. This contract vehicle has a five-year base and five-year option ordering period, with a potential value of $5 billion per year or $50 billion over the 10-year contract life span for all Seaport NxG awardees, to procure future support services requirements.
The Navy Systems Commands (NAVSEA, NAVAIR, SPAWAR, NAVFAC, and NAVSUP), the Office of Naval Research, Military Sealift Command and the United States Marine Corps will compete their service requirements among SeaPort-NxG IDIQ multiple award contract holders. The SeaPort-NxG portal provides a standardized, efficient means of soliciting offers from the diverse population of large and small businesses and their approved team members. All task orders will be solicited, awarded and managed using the SeaPort-NxG platform.
