Miguel Moreno – President, CEO / Senior Scientist

Mr. Moreno is the Senior Research Scientist at Senspex located in Rio Rancho, NM. He received a Bachelor's of Science degree in Physics from Florida International University and a Master's of Science degree in Physics from Florida Atlantic University. Mr. Moreno spent more than a decade working in the Silicon Valley area in semiconductor processes and analytical techniques. Mr. Moreno has extensive experience in optical spectroscopic techniques such as Raman spectroscopy, photoluminescence/fluorescence, FTIR, absorption/emission, and LIDAR technology for remote chemical detection. Mr. Moreno holds a US patent and has been involved in many technical publications. He is the co-founder of Senspex, Inc. where he works with advanced spectroscopic methods and thermal imaging systems to develop diverse applications from remote sensing, chemical detection, lidar systems, IR cameras for surveillance, process control, optical coatings, to nanotechnology.
