Senspex focuses on developing nanostructure molecular emission sensors for defense and security applications. We have successfully delivered several R&D products funded by various scientific agencies of the US Government, including US Army, Air Force, NSF, and EPA. Our proprietary illumination products are currently used at military training centers around the United States.
We are a world leader in periodic nanostructure arrays. Our team specializes in designing and fabricating gold nanosquares on substrates, such as Silicon, Silicon Nitride, and Zirconium Oxide. Using the lastest instruments and techniques at the NIST Center for Nanoscale Science and Technology (CNST), Senspex scientists can create coherent 25nm periods across 1 square millimeter. These Surface-Enhanced Raman- and Surface Plasmon Resonance-active nanoarrays are useful in a variety of molecular sensing products for Homeland Security applications.
